Medicare Outreach and Assistance Trainings

Regular training sessions are offered to partner agencies within the Wisconsin Aging Network. These sessions equip you with the information and tools necessary for conducting Medicare outreach and assistance to beneficiaries across the state. The training often includes best practices that have been developed from the experiences of aging professionals in Wisconsin over the years.

Basic SHIP Counselor Trainings

The Wisconsin SHIP provides basic SHIP counselor trainings, which consist of free, live virtual sessions addressing various Medicare topics for SHIP counselors. Additionally, they host an annual free webinar series that covers policy and plan updates for Medicare and related programs ahead of the Medicare Open Enrollment Period.
