The Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Resources, Inc., is a nonprofit agency committed to supporting the successful delivery of aging programs and services in 70 counties and 11 tribes in Wisconsin. We provide aging lead agencies in our service area with training, technical assistance, and advocacy to ensure the availability and quality of programs and services to meet the changing needs of older people in Wisconsin.

Help raise awareness of these four issues throughout the state and keep these aging priorities in the consciousness of Wisconsin policymakers with WAAN's 2018 Issue Card.

Help us recognize the Achievement and Commitment to Excellence demonstrated across the state by submitting a nomination for an ACE Award. Winners will be selected by mid-August, and awards will be presented at the Aging and Disability Network Conference Friday, September 14, 2018.

On June 8, 2018, the Administration for Community Living announced the award of the Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) grant to the Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Resources, Inc. (GWAAR). This five-year grant is designed to raise awareness and identify Medicare fraud, errors, and abuse. Grant projects focus on educating Medicare beneficiaries about the signs of Medicare fraud and what to do if fraud is suspected.
