Aging Advocacy Day 2019

Join Us May 14, 2019, at the State Capitol!

Registration Begins February 26!

Join other advocates and help educate state legislators about important issues affecting Wisconsin’s aging and disability populations! Wisconsin has a long, proud history of grassroots advocacy. Become a part of the citizen-led initiatives that make a difference!

No experience necessary; training is provided prior to your meetings with state lawmakers at the Wisconsin State Capitol. We'll gather at the Park Hotel (22 S. Carroll St., Madison) for updates and training, then cross the street and meet with policy-makers at the Capitol.

Schedule:
10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

9:00 a.m.: Check-in and registration, Park Hotel
10:00 a.m.: Issue briefing/advocate training, District planning time & lunch
12:15 p.m. Cross the street to the State Capitol
12:30 p.m.: Group photo
1:00 p.m.: Legislative visits, advocacy activities/networking, debriefing and check-out
