Meet Our Board

Selected for their experience with aging issues and their commitment to social activism, the following people have been named to the GWAAR board: 

Ken Mosentine (Chair), Barron: A former school principal, Mosentine currently serves on the Barron County Board of Supervisors, the 11-county Northern Bridges (MCO) board, and is a past state president of the Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups (CWAG).

Thomas McCarty (Vice-Chair), Eau Claire:  Thomas McCarty is the Eau Claire County Administrator and has also worked in county government administration in Sauk and Manitowoc counties. 

Mary Bouche (Treasurer/Secretary), Green Bay:  Former executive director of the Greater Wisconsin Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, Bouche has also worked at the area agency on aging in Green Bay (most recently known as the Bay Area Agency on Aging). 

Seymour Adler, Twin Lakes:  A former director of the Kenosha County Department of Human Services, Adler currently serves on the board of the Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services (ADRC) and the Kenosha County Commission on Aging Civic Engagement Committee.

Clifford G. Doxtator, Oneida Tribe:  A member of the Oneida Nation Commission on Aging, the Oneida National Veterans Affairs Committee, and co-chair of the Elder Committee of the National Congress of American Indians, Doxtator has a long, active history of support for tribal aging issues.

Eldon Freese, Grantsburg:  With a background in sales and finance, Freese currently serves on the Burnett County Board of Supervisors and is president of the Northwest Wisconsin ADRC.  He is also a former CWAG board member and district chair.

Marion Hokamp, Wisconsin Rapids: A former chair of the Wood County Commission on Aging, Hokamp is on the board of the ADRC of Central Wisconsin.  She is also secretary of the CWAG board and serves on the Wisconsin Rapids City Council.

Carole Machek, Washington Island: A registered nurse with certification in public health and health care management, Machek is currently a program director for the Washington Island Community Health Program.

Patti Pagel, Elkhorn: A registered nurse and Senior Services Program Coordinator at Aurora Health Care, Pagel is vice-chair of the Walworth County Commission on Aging and founder of the Walworth County Aging Network.

Erwin Teichmiller, Arbor Vitae: With fifty years of management experience in for-profit and non-profit businesses, Teichmiller is currently on the Vilas County Board of Supervisors and chairs the county’s ADRC committee. 

Robert Wilkinson, Janesville:  With a 31-year career in law enforcement, Wilkinson plays an active role in a variety of organizations including the Red Cross, Janesville school system, NAACP, United Way First Call, CWAG, and the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign.  He is also involved in planning for the Rock County ADRC.
