Finding Your Legislatorstate-capitol

Wisconsin’s area agencies on aging have a long history of successful advocacy working on behalf of, and at the direction of, older people in Wisconsin. The Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Resources, Inc., continues that tradition with a consumer-driven legislative agenda, clearly defined advocacy objectives, and a focus on cultivating and training senior advocates so they can speak out on behalf of themselves and their peers. We work with county and tribal aging programs to identify and speak out on legislative issues that impact older people in the state. And, because older people are their own best advocates, we work to help them get the information, training, and resources to develop their own advocacy skills and offer support and encouragement to use their voices to create good public policy for the seniors of today and tomorrow.

Let your state senator and representative know how you feel on issues that are important to you.
